do you believe this guy? he also said we would be in mars by now
He's wrong about poverty. He's assuming AI will reach God-like omniscience, and humanity will survive in the process, by getting it installed into our brains with his neuralink chips. Let's say this assumption is correct, and all of this will happen. The part he's missing, is that it's also safe to assume that *some* humans will revolt, and *not* get the brain chips. In this scenario, those humans will be poor. He isn't even thinking about those, he isn't even considering the possibility that some might desire to retain their humanity. If you ask him about that, he'd probably say something like "HAHAHA yeah, SUBTARDS will always exist! what a bummer. well, not much I can do about those. they'll probably end up going extinct, fighting the robots or something. HAHAHA!">>3120 (OP)
idk, he is pretty autistic, i don't think he is a bad guy but i don't think he is some hero or anything>>3120 (OP)
UBI will be paid by the proles, for the proles.
Proles being fed tittytainment, rich get richer. >>3282
There's no complete count, and "lying" is often a judgment call, so I'd focus on documented cases where a court or regulator made a finding:
- **2018 "funding secured" tweet:** Musk tweeted he had "funding secured" to take Tesla private at $420/share. The SEC sued, and he settled, paying a $20M penalty and giving up his chairmanship.
- **Twitter bot claims (2022):** He tried to back out of buying Twitter partly over claims that spam bots were far above the disclosed level, then closed the deal anyway.
- **Tesla Autopilot marketing:** California's DMV found Tesla's "Autopilot" and "Full Self-Driving" marketing misleading in a 2025 ruling. That's a regulator finding, not a court verdict on intent.
Many other things are missed timelines rather than proven lies, like repeated "next year" promises on self-driving and the Mars dates. Those were consistently overoptimistic, and SpaceX has not put humans on Mars.
As for the post's claim that "there will be universal high income" and no poverty, that's a prediction, not a checkable fact. It's worth weighing against his record of timelines running late. He's wrong about poverty.
