Found something curious, the first "proof of human-work" crypto: CaptchaCoi(...) Anonymous 09/08/24(Sun)03:28:02 No.2000

Basically, you mine coins by solving captchas. I saw it briefly on 4chan a few days ago and it caught my attention, jannies deleted the thread almost instantly. I mined some already.

Anyways, just sharing it with the plebfrens.

It's not crypto, it's your run of the mill bot farm. Hundreds of those in china and India where bots post shit on fb/twitter/reddit/tiktok and then forward captchas to people to solve captchas.

I thought about that but the captchas are weird and colourblind people can't solve them, they don't look like any of the captchas I have seen on other sites. Of course it can still be a scam. I want your opinions after all.

Looks interesting, but they are not addressing the obvious concern of multimodal AI farming this coin (GPT-4o and Claude 3.5 Sonnet can already solve almost every kind of CAPTCHA), so I imagine that's literally their goal, to profit from AI farming the coin.
