Will FED cutting rates in 15 days finally start the golden bull run?

I'm guessing nothing burger though. 2021 was the last bull run.

cope. after rate pivots there is always a 1 year bear. the question is whether crypto will have a 'safe haven' narrative that protects them from this forthcoming bear.

Yup, in fact the 10y2y spread is still negative (albeit very nearly zero now), and we know there's always a bear market first when it reverts back to positive. So the bull market (at least in equities) is probably in 2026 at the earliest. Aside from the question of how crypto will react is the question of BTC vs. the rest as you said. We could see BTC rally for geopolitical reasons while the rest of crypto lags (especially hype coins disappearing). Just in the last few days, BTC has mostly flip-flopped while "money" coins like LTC and Monero have gained and everything else is bleeding.

Do you think plebbit is low mcap that it is uncorrelated with all of this?

Like a lot of small caps, it's fairly correlated in terms of selling but in terms of buying it's only correlated when it's the latter part of a big move in crypto. Meaning, when everything bleeds, Plebbit bleeds. When crypto goes up for quite a while, at some point, towards the tail end of that, Plebbit goes up. That's my observation anyway. But all that means nothing because it's such a low market cap that any major positive development - like the project getting know, a big surge in users, or tipping being introduced, etc. - would create a huge move upwards regardless of what else is going on. We saw that with the move from Avalanche to Ethereum, and a few other major developments. Of course, a huge move up would be even bigger if it's when crypto is stable and not bleeding. But in a raging bull market, Plebbit may get drowned by the hype of other things (dog coins, etc.) so that move up might not be as dramatic as one would think in that period. Anyway, I hope that's helpful and thanks for reading my essay!

if we do an esoteric analysis of your plebbut username (the prefix being 'SE' and the suffix 'MA'), then 'SE' means you are a software engineer, studying to be one or should become one but that you also have a secret passion which should be pursued through a 'MA' or masters of arts.
