> OP here:

I first heard about this film by chance in September this year. Before then, I’d never even known it existed. I came across it on a Douban entry in China and learned that it was a cult film, so I started looking for it.

At first, I thought I’d be able to find it easily with a Google search, but it wasn’t as simple as I’d expected. Some Reddit users had discussed the film, and one of them shared a download link on Archive.org, but unfortunately, Archive.org removed it.

I also tried looking for it via BitTorrent and on the Tor network, but came up empty-handed. I went back to Douban, where one user had posted a photo of a QR code for adding them on Tencent QQ. I added them, and they sent me the original film directly.

I watched it at an accelerated speed. The picture quality was like VHS; the film seemed to be cobbled together from things already online. The picture and sound were both, frankly, f**king awful.
