Recent news like Anthropic putting 20% of its shares into a fund dedicated to the "public good" or Elon Musk announcing he will give SPCX shares to every American children... Could it be that they are slowly normalizing the idea of an UBI? Interesting to note, it looks like a private initiative at first glance, but these companies are basically funded by the US government. It would be public welfare with another name.

yes because everyone is about to lose their damn job. it's crazy how much AI keeps accelerating, remember until the beginning of 2026 we got like 1 new SOTA model every 1.5 months? now it's every 2 weeks or so. also it's getting cheaper and cheaper (they solved context caching apparently, probably via RSI which has now started), unlike common belief. for example opus 5.5 is oneshotting anything and it's super cheap relatively to its capabilities, and it's like 2 weeks old if i recall correctly, and 4 weeks ago gpt-6-astra also was SOTA but it's now expensive crap compared to opus 5.5. and now fable 5.5 is imminent and it's probably going to be SOTA. it's every 2 weeks. next year it's gonna be every week/few days. also did you notice math is solved now? https://github.com/openai/math this was scifi beginning of 2026. also notice the bot swarm attack against huggingface was in August 2026 but it's not the last one, dozens more happened in September and October and they're not slowing down. 2027 is unironically the year of RSI causing AGI, Palantir mass surveillance, massive agent swarm hacks destroying the web and changing it forever, UBI as you said, and humanoids starting to get shipped everywhere.
