Good question. Unfortunately, I don't think so. Young people are tiktok and twitter brained nigger cattle. Twitter now lets you say whatever the fuck schizo nonsense you want, so there's no point in anonymous imageboards anymore.
Still not using it, just because I find having to register an account to post super fucking inconvenient and I don't want to give the future inquisition dirt on me 5-10 years down the line.>>113
absolutely disappointing. what's more disappointing is the fact that all my friends that used to frequent 4cuck all ditched it to go to either Xitter or fucking reels/tiktok. it just hurts my heart thinking about it. the same people that you thought hated all this stupid social media nonsense just turned out to be fucking frauds in the end.Have you tried using 4chan recently? No, you probably haven't because there's very little organic traffic, which really shows, and the captcha is worse than ever so posting is painful most of the time.
It's sad to see the state of it and imageboards/traditional social media on the internet in 2026, but ultimately it was inevitable once the site became literally a giant epstein-funded bannon psyop to turn an entire generation into slavering schizo retards.
So when it comes to the use case of 5chan it's literally a necessary alternative for anyone looking for a similar, fresher experience that isn't soyjack party, which can be pretty funny and is definitely way more active although it's fairly boring with a very young audience. These type of decentralized sites are gaining some steam from what I can tell, which is encouraging.>>115
The AI model was too dumb and sending posts to mod queue even when they weren't breaking rules. I fixed this a few months ago by designing a hybrid AI triage system, basically a very cheap classifier (jev) does a first check, then either sends to luna, or approves, or grok-4.7 (which handles controversial content well) decides to send to mod queue. It has been working well so far, I haven't seen new complaints by users.

I think I just found the cause, a stupid mistake. I have a custom moderation log running for my boards, but I forgot to cap it, so it had grown too large and every new post would recompute the whole thing, so posts could take 2-4 minutes to confirm. Now it's capped at 100 entires and my bitsocial node is far less loaded, so posting should be much faster. Let me know if it's still slow for you.>>112
