People who create imageboards really underestimate the investment required to keep one running properly; ever since the El Paso, Texas shooting, many hosting providers have blacklisted imageboards, and even Cloudflare refuses service to new ones. You’d have to host it in Eastern Europe or somewhere similar. The scripts and engines for these boards are abandoned and outdated; you can use them as a foundation to build your own, but if you just deploy them as-is without making any changes, you risk getting the site hacked.
