i tried making one of those homemade toyish crossbows with common items but it didnt work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqP-MCZBo9Y i was following that video but i guess the rubber bands i had at hand were not as thick, so it was never going to work but go ahead and try it if you ever wanted to have a simple crossbow, while not lethal you could surely hurt someone in the eyes with it
