i have no hard proof but me and others have experienced it: Youtube (owned by google) is slower on Firefox than in chrome fuck google i'll keep using firefox because the ublock extensions works there and not in chrome but fuck google i hope they fucking DIE

thing is tho, if jewtube being slightly slower on firefox is a major annoyance to you, then the REAL solution is to stop watching so much jewtube
try helium browser a chromium fork without telemetry, with out of the box installed ublock and with google services replaced with their own, working as a proxy between you and google. afaik the server is located in germany, if you dont trust them then you have an option to self host it as well the fastest browser I've used and works well with youtube, even better than brave since by default there are no brave shit like cryptocurrency or telemetry
